Gold Coast developer QNY has received development approval for Camilla, a $120 million residential building set to introduce a new standard of design-led, wellness-focused living in the heart of Broadbeach.

Rising 25 levels on a prime corner site at 162 Surf Parade, Camilla will comprise just 31 residences. The boutique collection includes a double-storey four-bedroom penthouse, 14 full-floor three or four-bedroom apartments, and 16 half-floor two-bedroom apartments.
QNY Director Anthony Quinn said with development approval in place, Camilla is ready to bring a refined, thoughtfully designed presence to Broadbeach.
“Camilla is designed to feel like a sanctuary, blending coastal calm with contemporary sophistication,” Mr Quinn said. “Every detail has been carefully considered to balance privacy, openness, and connection to the natural environment, creating homes that are timeless, refined, and designed to meet the expectations of discerning buyers seeking a coastal residence of exceptional quality.”

Camilla continues QNY’s collaboration from NO.21 with award-winning architects Carr, whose design philosophy emphasises thoughtful restraint, material honesty, and enduring form.
Carr Director Stephen McGarry said the building’s form and finish respond to the coastal setting while elevating residential architecture on the Gold Coast.
“Camilla expresses quiet confidence through carefully articulated volumes creating a sense of poise and permanence,” Mr McGarry said. “The material palette draws on the surrounding landscape, with textured masonry, warm earthy tones, and concrete details that feel grounded and timeless. Interiors and terraces are designed to connect seamlessly with the outdoors, inviting light, ventilation, and panoramic views of the ocean, city, and hinterland.”

Wellness is seamlessly woven into daily life at Camilla, with a bathhouse-inspired retreat featuring spa, steam, sauna, and cold plunge, alongside a state-of-the-art gym. Landscaped gardens, waterfalls, cabanas, outdoor lounges, and dining areas provide spaces for residents to reset, connect and unwind. The amenities are complemented by intuitive, concierge-style services designed to enhance everyday living.
Leading property marketing agency Motiv has been appointed to manage the campaign, which will offer prospective buyers the chance to register for priority access ahead of the official market launch in the coming months.
Motiv Founder and CEO Carly Cottam said Camilla represents a rare opportunity for private, refined living in Broadbeach.
“Camilla is a study in quiet luxury — an intimate collection of homes that feel deeply connected to their coastal surroundings,” Ms Cottam said. “As a resident-only building, it offers a true sense of exclusivity - crafted for those who value privacy, permanence, and a more composed way of living. Demand for design-led coastal homes of this calibre continues to grow, and Camilla answers that with rare restraint. “The wellness retreat and communal spaces rival those of much larger projects, yet remain deeply personal in scale, delivering an experience of everyday calm and considered sophistication.”
Construction of Camilla is expected to commence in Q3 2026, with priority access for prospective residents available later this year.
