A concise reflection on MOTIV’s most defining year yet - a look at the momentum, discipline and strategic clarity that shaped 2025.

A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER

Reflecting on 2025; the year that was

2025 has been a defining year for MOTIV.
Not just because of the milestones we reached, but because of how we reached them.

It was a year of intentional growth, not accidental scale. A year where we remained dynamic, measured and disciplined in an environment that demanded clarity, confidence and control.

INTENTIONAL GROWTH. ONE VISION. ONE TEAM.

This year marked the opening of our second office on the Gold Coast, a significant milestone for MOTIV. Not as a signal of expansion for expansion’s sake, but as a natural evolution of our platform and partnerships.

Two offices. One vision. One team.

Our growth has always been deliberate. Every hire, every project appointment, every market move has been made with long-term alignment in mind. In 2025, that philosophy was tested, and proven.

We are currently exclusively appointed on over $3.5 billion worth of projects, representing our largest pipeline to date. More importantly, many of those appointments came from repeat developers, a reflection of trust earned, not assumed.

NAVIGATING A SHIFTING PROPERTY LANDSCAPE

2025 was not without its challenges.

Economic conditions continued to dominate headlines. Ongoing commentary around the Reserve Bank of Australia’s interest-rate position, cost-of-capital pressure, and buyer sentiment shifts had a tangible impact on decision-making across the property sector.

Construction pricing remained elevated, driven by labour constraints, material volatility and risk premiums that continue to flow through feasibility models. At the same time, demand, particularly in lifestyle-led, well-located residential markets, remained resilient, albeit more discerning.

Overlay this with the long runway into the Brisbane 2032 Olympics, and the development landscape became increasingly complex. Infrastructure investment, population growth forecasts, planning reform discussions and global capital attention all converged, creating opportunity, but also requiring sharper execution.

In this environment, strategy mattered more than ever, and that will continued well into 2026 and beyond.

CERTAINTY, CLARITY AND CONTROL

Against this backdrop, MOTIV helped deliver over $500 million in sales, with an average sales price of $2.275 million, and $1.2 billion worth of projects under construction, cementing strong sales success and market confidence for our developer partners.

We maintained velocity without compromising value.
Price integrity was protected across every release.
Escalation was implemented strategically - never reactively.

This wasn’t about chasing volume. It was about controlling narrative, cadence and confidence, and ensuring each decision was aligned with long-term project outcomes.

TRUST IS BUILT IN THE DETAIL

Behind the numbers sat thousands of moments that mattered.

Over 38,000 tailored communications, hundreds of conversations, more than 700 private appointments, and buyers engaging from local, interstate and offshore markets. Every appointment was intentional. Every interaction mattered.

Trust was earned.  One buyer at a time.

EVOLVING THE CRAFT

In 2025, we launched seven new projects, led by story-driven strategy rather than noise. We prioritised thinking before spend. Positioning before promotion. We extend our sincere thanks to our Creative and Media partners for their continued commitment to pushing boundaries alongside us, and for ensuring the details, the 1%ers, were not only considered, but executed.

We welcomed five new team members, invested deeply in training, and stepped outside the office to learn, refine and evolve how projects are sold in an increasingly sophisticated market.

This was a year of sharpening the craft and raising the bar.

LOOKING AHEAD

2025 was a year of momentum.
A year of measured growth.
A year of showing up; consistently and deliberately.

As we move forward, the market will continue to evolve. Economic cycles will shift. Media narratives will change. But our commitment remains the same: to lead with clarity, to partner with purpose, and to deliver outcomes that stand the test of time.

This was 2025 at MOTIV.
