The Tannery has officially marked the commencement of construction, with a recent sod turn signalling an exciting milestone for the project, McNab and the broader West End community.
With 70% of residences now sold, the milestone reflects the strong demand for thoughtfully designed, owner-occupier focused residences in one of Brisbane’s most established and culturally rich inner-city locations.
Developed and built by McNab, The Tannery brings together a highly regarded project team, with architecture by Cottee Parker, interiors by Tom Mark Henry and landscaping by Aspect Studios. Together, the team has shaped a residential community that responds to the character of West End while delivering a refined and contemporary living experience.

Central to the project is the adaptive reuse of the heritage Dixon’s Tannery building, which will be reimagined as a private resident Retreat. This considered approach preserves an important piece of the site’s history while creating a unique amenity offering for future residents.
The commencement of construction represents more than a project milestone. It marks the beginning of The Tannery’s physical transformation and the continued evolution of a site deeply connected to West End’s past, present and future.

As construction progresses, The Tannery continues to build momentum as one of Brisbane’s most distinctive new residential addresses.
